(Grades K-8) This book was created to help minimize the workload of school counselors while simultaneously engaging students in a series of meaningful activities. It will also help to facilitate the inclusion of students who never participate in extracurricular activities, providing them an opportunity to take pride in changing the culture and climate of their schools and will also help to recreate or give students an active part in the school community.

  • Gives students who never participate in extracurricular activities a chance to (Ex; band, sports, cheerleading, and etc.).
  • The students are given the autonomy to train incoming students which changes the role of the Counselor/ Facilitator from coach to liaison.
  • The program provides students an opportunity to participate during school hours as opposed to traditional extracurricular activities that occur after school.
  • Healthier relationships between classroom teachers and students are established as students see themselves as an integral part of the changing school climate.
  • Bridges the counseling gap between elementary, middle and junior high schools.
