Piggy Monday

By Suzanne Bloom

(Grades K-4)  The children in Mrs. Hubbub’s class are so rude and thoughtless one day, that they turn into pigs! Then they need the help of the Pig Lady to help them remember their manners by teaching them that: “Every time I’m picked on, it makes me feel so small. So don’t make fun of anyone. Don’t bully or name-call." As the students realize their mistakes, their tails, snouts, and hooves begin to disappear. Before long, yucky habits are dropped and hurt feelings go away.
