Activities and games in this book help K-6 students learn and use steps to the SORRY, I Forgot to Ask! skills of asking for permission and making an apology. Julia Cook gives teachers creative ideas using paper snowball fights, school litter hunts, role plays, and poster making so students work and think hard while having fun. Students are asked to brainstorm answers to what if questions, create apology triangles, use objects such as stew ingredients and balloons to visualize the skills, write reports of interviews with parents or relatives, and act out scenes that help them practice asking for permission and saying they re sorry.
